“As part of our plans to fight exam malpractice, WAEC bring in paper serialization system wey dem copy from one national exam body,” dem explain. “But afta we release di results, we notice say some technical palava dey affect am.”
To fix di errors wey dem find, WAEC don lock access to di results for their official result-checking portal and promise say dem go open am back within 24 hours.
“We dey very sorry for di wahala wey this one don cause candidates, parents, and everybody. This action show say we serious about fairness, professionalism, and doing things di correct way,” di statement talk.
WAEC still tell candidates wey don see their results before make dem check again afta 24 hours, as dem dey work to fix everything clear and sharp-sharp.
