Lagos Go Dey Get Light Wahala From July 28 to August 21 – TCN Say Make People Ready

People wey dey live for Lagos go begin experience on-and-off light from Monday, July 28 reach Thursday, August 21, as the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) don start work on one major power line wey connect Omotosho to Ikeja West.

TCN talk say dem wan install fibre cable wey go help dem monitor electric system better and faster in real-time. The project don get full go-ahead from Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

The work go dey happen every day from 8:00 morning reach 5:00 evening, and TCN promise say dem go try bring back light after each day’s work.

Both Ikeja Electric and Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) don drop public notice give their customers make dem ready for the intermittent power supply wey go happen during this period.

Ikeja Electric talk say:

“Dear Customer, TCN go do maintenance for Omotosho–Ikeja West 330kV line from July 28 to August 21, between 8AM to 5PM daily.

Because of this, we fit no fit give you stable light. Expect small small load shedding and blinking light across our network.”

EKEDC still add say:

“TCN go run planned work from July 28 to August 21.

Time: 8AM – 5PM daily
